About me:

I have a background in education for 27+ years, as a former professor in 2 Iraqi universities plus the SDK Academy in Jordan. I got my BA in the English language and my MA in Applied Linguistics from the College of Arts, Basrah University, Iraq.

Since 2008 when I got resettled in the USA, I have been teaching at the Sunday School of Tri-Cities Islamic Center. I taught Arabic, Quran, and Hadeeth. This year, I'm teaching the Clear Quran class. My interest is creating cultural understanding as I work with refugees through World Relief and seek mutual understanding for a better service and integration. My other interest is participating in the community activities. I like traveling and fashion.

My name is Nadia Alfeturi, from Libya received a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Food Sciences from the University of Tripoli, Libya. This will be my Tirth year at ICTC as Kindergarten Teacher, after five years Arabic teacher at Arabic Language & Culture Organization in WSU. Teaching kids in basics of Islam and the Arabic language is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to help our kids in our community to grow in Islam's fundamental environment.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids, cooking, and camping.
